THE AETHER-WOVEN HEART
Elves are admired and feared for their intelligence, elegance, and remarkable mastery of magic, craftsmanship, and scholarship. Many serve as professors, researchers, artists, doctors, or accomplished spellcasters, carrying themselves with quiet confidence that some mistake for arrogance. Their refined culture and long lives have earned them a reputation for wisdom, though critics often accuse them of being detached, elitist, and slow to embrace change. They often have a shrewd perspective on mortal life, mistaking it to be of no worth, due to themselves often being ancient, many not knowing death of “old age.” Few races are as respected, or as quietly envied, as the Elves.
